
ABOUT THE CLUB
Kuching City FC is a professional football club based in Kuching, Sarawak. Kuching City was known as Kuching FA was established in 2015 to compete in the first edition of Liga Bolasepak Rakyat 2015/16. Kuching FA became the first champion of Liga Bolasepak Rakyat 2015/16. In 2017 Kuching FA was promoted to third tier of Malaysia League, FAM Cup 2017-2018. Next, Kuching became runner up in M3 League 2019 and promoted to Malaysia Premier League (MPL) 2020. In the middle of 2020, Kuching FA was rebranded to Kuching City FC and managed by Kuching City FC Sdn. Bhd. After 3 years competing in Malaysia Premier League (MPL), Kuching City FC will be competing in the elite league Malaysia Super League 2023 after qualified to MSL by merit.
CLUB HISTORY
In the 2015–16 Liga Bolasepak Rakyat, Kuching won the inaugural edition after beating Padang Besar 3-1 at the Selayang Stadium. With the championship, Kuching got an automatic promotion into the 2017 Piala FAM.
In their first season in FAM League, Kuching achieved 4th place in Group B, qualifying the team for the play-offs. They were knocked out in the quarter-final stage by UKM F.C., which later gained promotion to 2018 Malaysia Premier League as finalist of the play-offs.
Kuching finished the season as runners up, winning 18 out of 26 matches and scored 58 goals.

There are 3 main squad for Kuching City FC which are the first team squad, U23 team squad and U20 team squad. The first team squad will be competing the Malaysia Super League 2023 while the U23 team squad and U20 team squad will be competing for U23 Reserved League and U20 Presiden Cup respectively
